Marché® opens Bar & Bistro Raffles City in the Center of Singapore

The metropolitan area of Singapore will soon benefit from a new Marché® location: The Swiss gastronomy company will celebrate the Grand Opening of a new Marché Bar & Bistro in the shopping center Raffles City today, 12 June 2012. This means that Marché International is now operating three locations in this Asian city state.

Marché® freshens up its online presence

The online presence of the Marché® restaurants is now ready to address the demands of the market: Fresh, high-quality, fast and international. The new website includes six language versions for its 98 locations around the world. With the mobile version of the website, our guests can now find the nearest Marché® restaurant anytime and any place. During the relaunch phase Marché® is also starting an attractive introductory offer for its guests.

Italian Switzerland in Indonesia: Marché® opens its second restaurant in Jakarta

Following the successful opening of Marché International at the Plaza Senayan last year, a second Marché restaurant has now been opened in Jakarta. The new location in Grand Indonesia Shopping Town fascinated its guests with the charming atmosphere typical of the southern regions of Switzerland – the focus was on the area around Ticino.

The first Marché® Bistro opens in Switzerland

The first Marché® Bistro in Switzerland was opened on 20 November 2008 at the Basel Weil highway rest stop. Marché International is continu-ing to expand its market presence with its Marché®-Freshness Restaurant along the highway A2/A5 and is now operating a total of 13 rest stops along the Swiss highway system.

Marché International continues on expansion course – Market entry in Croatia

Marché International and the Croatian fuel retailer Tifon, MOL Group subsidiary, opens their first common subsidiary in Croatia, seven Tifon gas stations being about to also display the Marché® logo along Croatia’s highways in the near future.

Marché™ opens two new bistros in Slovenia

On 3 October 2008, Marché International opened two new Marché™ bistros near Starine Oto?ec in Slovenia along both directions of the highway between Zagreb and Obrežje, one of the major routes leading to Croatia. The opening of the new location in Starine represents an additional step for Marché International as the company continues to expand in Slovenia, opening its 14th and 15th Marché™ rest stops along the Slovenian highway.

Marché International once again wins the award for the “Caterer of the Year 2008”

During a festive event on Sunday, 28 September 2008, in the “Alten Kesselhaus” in Düsseldorf, Germany, approximately 450 top managers from the food and restaurant industry gathered to witness the bestowing of the award as the “Caterer of the Year” for the sixth time. Marché International was awarded 1st place in the category “Management and Employees”.

Marché™ Bistro and Marché™ Natural Bakery open at the Páty location in Hungary

Marché International opened a Marché™ Bistro and a Marché™ Natural Bakery on 4 July 2008 at Páty, along the M1 on the Hungarian highway network. The new location is the third in Hungary, next to the Marché™ restaurants in Mosonmagyaróvár.
