On 3 October 2008, Marché International opened two new Marché™ bistros near Starine Otočec in Slovenia along both directions of the highway between Zagreb and Obrežje, one of the major routes leading to Croatia. The opening of the new location in Starine represents an additional step for Marché International as the company continues to expand in Slovenia, opening its 14th and 15th Marché™ rest stops along the Slovenian highway.
The rest stops Starine Otočec I and II operate a Marché™ bistro in both directions with a total seating capacity of 36 guests for each location. A total of 16 employees are responsible for making sure that the guests are well take care of. The Marché™ bistros Starine Otočec I and II are open 24 hours a day on Friday and Saturday and from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday until Thursday. A fresh and high quality offering is available for the guests throughout the hours of operation. The Marché™ bistros offer individually-prepared sandwiches with homemade spreads and cold-cuts, a plentiful salad and vegetable buffet, cakes and muffins baked right on site, as well as fresh, hand-pressed fruit juices and a variety of freshly-brewed, delicious coffee variations. All of these tasty treats, both hot and cold, are also available for take-out.
Marché™ takes the desires and needs of visiting families very seriously and place a high level of importance in the design of our restaurants on the area of attractiveness to children. To make sure that a brief stay in our restaurant is both interesting and relaxing for the whole family, a variety of games and attractions have been made available for the smallest guests. These include table sets for painting, balloons and flags and banners, not to mention a very attractive playground. The healthy children’s dishes are also offered at a price that is interesting for any family budget.
