    From 20th may to 22nd june the Marché® Restaurants in Germany invite you to the Appenzeller weeks. Enjoy delicious specialities of the Appenzellerland like the famous Appenzeller® cheese.

    Start your day with a Marché® breakfast, available daily from 9 until 11 a.m. Enjoy a market-fresh breakfast buffet including all non-alcoholic hot drinks and one glass of hand-pressed fruit juice. Only € 14.50 per person (not including the zoo leipzig entry).

  • Asian Summer Night

    Welcome your guests to the Asian pagoda at the Leipzig Zoo. The authentic surroundings, an exclusive tour through the elephant enclosure and the Asian art of cooking are real treats for all of your senses! For groups ranging in size from 25 to 50 people from april to august. Please make your reservation early!

  • Fascination of the ocean

    Submerge yourself into an exotic evening! Would you like to have dinner with sharks, moray eels and butterfly fish? You can celebrate your event, dine and dance in the one-of-a kind rustic atmosphere of the aquarium at the Leipzig Zoo. For groups from 25 to 150 people! Please reserve your unforgettable evening well ahead of time!

KIWARA Lodge events

  • HAKUNA MATATA

    Join us for a foray through the zoo, including a 1.5 hour guided tour. We will meet you in the KIWARA Lodge with a welcome drink, then set you off on a culinary expedition through the African cuisine. Experience the exotic rhythms & the authentic dances and feel the adventurous part of Africa in the heart of Leipzig! Available the first Wednesday of each month from may to august, starting at 6:30 p.m. for € 65 per person. Please make your reservation well in advance!

  • African Dinner

    At 6 p.m. starts our unique winterly walk to the KIWARA Lodge. When you arrive you will get a welcome drink and a great menu inclusive all offered beverages. Gibba from Senegal provides for Entertainment. The very special evening for € 70 per person ends with a tour through the houses of giraffes and lions. You can order the tickets at the "Safari" Office 0341/ 59 333 85.

Kids Birthday Party

How about celebrating your birthday party at the zoo? The birthday child will receive a special present and all of your friends get a small surprise. Your birthday party table will be decorated with painting sheets, colored pencils and candy.  Ask us about trips through the zoo! Only € 4.90 per person.
